REIWA 9000 (2021)
Per the request of his grandmother, a Japanese-American man goes to the beach in Los Angeles.

The magic of Playboi Carti music is that you feel the atmosphere rather than any reliance on lyrics. I attempted to translate that feeling into a film.
My third narrative shot in 2019, completed in 2021 is REIWA 9000. It was a film meant to be seen by no one. I was just insecure and didn't trust my cast or crew and decided to mess it all up myself. I had no fun making this and that's why I only make things that are fun now. I learned a lot and I appreciate this experience.
What's with the title? 9000 was the budget for the film. It's not that deep.

my second ever narrative film, Hock Spit Vomit. Raw, just raw dumb weirdo undergrad film vibes. Thanks to my talented and unpaid cast and crew. Fun fact I got a D in my thesis writing class because I was more focused on making this, I almost did not graduate.

NUCOSM (2015)
Technically the first narrative I ever made. It's fun. It's like why I got into making films in the first place. I hope to one day recapture this joy. Made for a summer class with 2 classmates over 2 days. Idk what happened to those 2 people but I remember you and that was the best of times. Shot in Staten Island lol. I miss these days when I just made whatever popped into my brain and there was no audience. A certified YYY classic.
